The Glamorgan Iron Horse Vintage Society Santa Sleigh through local communities is tomorrow, Saturday 17th December from 4.30pm.

Raising money for local charities a convoy of over 40 decorated and illuminated tractors has become one of the highlights of Christmas for local children, with hundreds of families lining the route to cheer on Santa and his brightly decorated convoy in 2020 and 2021.

This year the Santa Sleigh will start at 4.30pm in Parc Slip Nature Reserve and will travel through local villages including Tondu, Aberkenfig, Sarn, Penyfai, Bryntirion, Cefn Glas, Broadlands, Laleston, Cefn Cribwr, Kenfig Hill. Pyle, Cornelly, Newton, Porthcawl, Nottage, Cornelly and Kenfig.

The full route starts at Parc Slip Nature Reserve, Tondu, Aberkenfig, Sarn Hill, Middle Road, Sarn Club , Bryncoch Road, Sarn Hill, Bridgend Road, Heol Tyn Y Garn, Penyfai, Cefn Glas Road, Merlin Crescent Cefn Glas, Bright Hill Bryntirion, B4622 Broadlands to second roundabout and back up B4622, High Street Laleston, Roger’s lane, Cefn Cribwr, Kenfig Hill, Pyle Cross, Marlas Rd Pyle, Heol yr Parc Cornelly, Fairfield Cornelly, School terrace Cornelly, B4283, South Cornelly By-pass, Pyle Road, Newton Nottage Road, Newton (Bridgend Rd), New Rd, Griffin Park, Eastern Promenade, Porthcawl Sea Front, Rest Bay, Fulmar Rd, West Park Drive, West Road, Prince of Wales Kenfig, the Angel Inn Kenfig, Water St Kenfig, finishing at Newlands farm.
