Tickets selling fast for ‘An Evening of Song’ at St Theodore’s

Tickets are selling fast for ‘An Evening of Song’ at St Theodore’s Church and Wellbeing Centre in Kenfig Hill on Friday, 10th February at 7.00pm.

Kenfig Hill’s very own singing sensation, brilliant young baritone Joseph Gray, the Dunraven Welsh Singer of the Year 2019 will be hosting this, his first ever solo concert, accompanied by another homegrown favourite, pianist Andrew Chinnock. Joe and Andrew will be joined by phenomenal soloists Lauren Elizabeth-Williams & Heather Jones of Loud Applause Rising Stars as well as young talented soloists Esther Thomas-Bizjack and Alexander Durston.

Doors will open at 6.30pm and the concert will start at 7.00pm. Tickets are £7.00 and are available from ‘Kind Regards Greeting Cards’ shop and Theo’s charity shop in Kenfig Hill.

Applications open for school nursery places

Applications are now open for parents/carers of eligible children to apply for a full-time nursery place in September 2023 or a part-time nursery place from January or April 2024.

To fill in an application, parents/carers can simply sign up to My Account on Bridgend County Borough Council’s website using their computer, tablet or mobile.

The deadline to apply is Friday 24 March 2023 at 4pm for full-time nursery applications and Thursday 31 August 2023 at 4pm for part-time nursery applications.

If parents/carers have submitted their application online, they will be able to see in My Account that it has been received. They will then be notified of the outcome of full-time nursery applications on 15 May 2023 and part-time nursery applications by 31 October 2023.
