Local content marketing business to deliver exclusive AI training in Wales

Cardiff-based AI specialists, Cavefish, has been awarded an exclusive license to deliver a series of ChatGPT and MS Copilot workshops in Wales, starting this July.

The company will be working alongside renowned entrepreneur and AI expert, Kyle Balmer, to deliver a series of 1-hour workshops to help individuals and businesses enhance their knowledge of AI and how to effectively apply this in various profession scenarios.

The course, which has been developed by Kyle Balmer and held over 150 sessions in the past 12 months, will be exclusively delivered in Wales by Cavefish’s CDO, Jon Prescott. Jon has over 30 years of digital experience and now heads up the business’s data and artificial intelligence operations, which services a range of clients across a range of industries in the UK.

While ChatGPT is growing rapidly in popularity, only about 2% of the UK are actively using it, compared to 7% in the US(1). This is despite 85% of Brits being aware of AI language models such as ChatGPT, Google Bard and Bing Chat(2). However, it is recognised as an effective tool to help individuals and businesses in generating human-like content using artificial intelligence for improved engagement.

The workshop will focus on not only building knowledge and skills in using ChatGPT or other AI alternatives but will help delegates to use it as a ‘hyper-intelligent assistant’ to support with tasks, from day-to-day admin to deeper content creation and research. The course will demonstrate how to communicate effectively with AI, and how to use prompt engineering techniques by crafting precise instructions to get the full benefit of the platform.

From this, delegates will learn practical skills to improve their AI interactions which will enable them to understand how it can benefit them personally or within their business, which will save both time and resource on a number of tasks.

The course covers the fundamentals of using AI, however, can be tailored to the audience where needed. Delegates will learn the basics in initial 1-hour introduction workshops, with a 3-hour advanced workshop also available. The course includes face to face training for delegates in Wales, with virtual courses also available UK-wide.

Jon Prescott, CDO at Cavefish, comments, “AI is at the very core of what we do at Cavefish. Our business is there to help people apply artificial intelligence to their content marketing strategies to improve their digital presence. However, it can be used across a whole range of tasks, for both individuals and businesses. But the tricky part is knowing it’s capabilities and where to start. We are big advocates for using AI, and so educating more people about how it can be used to support them whether it’s in their day-to-day or as part of a business strategy will ultimately save them a lot of time and potentially resource too. We’re grateful for the opportunity from Kyle Balmer to take on this already successful workshop in Wales and get more people using AI.”

Cavefish is a Cardiff based businesses which helps businesses create and grow their online presence using AI content generation. The platform creates ready-to-go, optimised content and allows its clients to integrate specific requirements such as personas, audience data, SEO requirements and trending topics to support with digital marketing performance.

The platform uses a push and pull strategy to help businesses build their content bank, removing the complexity of analysis and research. For example, the pull platform uses deep AI by analysing market news feeds and competitor activity to draw out relevant or trending topics which will best support a company’s SEO requirements and become more competitive in rankings. Meanwhile, the push mode generates digital content that uses the analysis and provides ready-written articles or online content that can be published instantly, without the need for optimising.

The company has been awarded as Leading Innovator in AI-driven SEO & Content Automation at the Innovation in Business MarTech Awards earlier this year, as well as making a finalist in the Cardiff Life Awards, and IOD Start Up Director of the Year.
