My Choice Healthcare recognised as top finalist by Great British Care Awards
Fast-growing Care Home provider, My Choice Healthcare, has been recognised as a top finalist by the prestigious Great British Care Awards after being shortlisted in six different award categories in the Wales Regional Finals.
A leading industry event, the Great British Care Awards pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.
Representing all areas of social care from the independent and voluntary sectors – including residential, home care, housing with care, learning disabilities and autism services – the 2024 Great British Care Awards will take place over a series of regional events throughout the UK.
Established in 2019, My Choice Healthcare has evolved into an impressive care provider, with seven different care, nursing and residential homes operating across South Wales and two additional Homes in Shropshire and the West Midlands.
In recognition of its exceptional standards of care, My Choice Healthcare has received an impressive seven nominations across six different award categories, including Best Care Home Employer and Outstanding Contribution to Social Care for CEO, Bethan Evans.

- Best Care Home Manager: Teri Edwards, Hawthorn Court/Ocean Living.
- Dignity in Care: Fay Jones, Springfield Residential Care Home.
- Putting People First Award: the Springfield Care Team.
- Best Ancillary Worker: Cath Jones, Glyncornel Nursing Home (Cook).
- Best Ancillary Worker: Bethany Davies, Hawthorn Court Residential Home (Domestic).
News of the Great British Care Awards follows an exciting period of progression for My Choice Healthcare, having grown by 30% over the last 18 months, while also reaching the finalist stage of the Care Forum Wales Awards.

Taking place on Wednesday 6th November, 2024, the Great British Care Awards Wales Regional Finals will be hosted at the Marriott Hotel in Cardiff and will welcome finalists across 21 different categories.
