Neath Polyphonic Choir is set to raise the roof of St. David’s Church, Neath, with a thrilling line-up of music for its summer concert on Friday, June 21st. This special event is in aid of the Rhodri Jones Memorial Appeal.

Established in memory of Rhodri Jones, who valiantly battled osteosarcoma, the Rhodri Jones Memorial Appeal aims to raise awareness of osteosarcoma and bone cancer, while organising fundraising events to support the Bone Cancer Research Trust. Since Rhodri’s passing in 2006, more than £180,000 has been raised to fund osteosarcoma research.

The concert will start at 7pm and promises an evening of exceptional music featuring Welsh National Opera soprano, Angharad Morgan, and renowned organist, Huw Tregelles Williams. Adding to the musical extravaganza will be two talented trumpeters and a percussionist, along with the choir’s regular musical team.

Tickets are still available by calling 07970 027685 or can be purchased at the door on the night. An interval drink and concert programme are included with the ticket.

Choir director, Mark Ritzmann, said:

“We have a wonderful programme of music lined up and some very talented musicians on board. It promises to be a memorable evening with something for everyone to enjoy.”

Every ticket purchased is a great contribution – attendees can enjoy an unforgettable night of music while supporting a worthy cause.
