New online services for Bridgend residents now available through ‘My Account’
Additional services and a new homepage are due to be introduced on ‘My Account’, the online personalised service for residents in Bridgend County Borough, from next week.
From Monday 4 April, residents will be able to report incidences of rats, mice, bedbugs, and cockroaches online through the online portal.
Residents will also be able to report any damaged or faulty streetlights across the county borough online, via My Account, making it quicker to notify us of any issues.
Making a report online is quick and easy and you will receive a confirmation email to let you know your request has been received successfully.
Residents who wish to access these new online services, can also manage their council tax, benefits, and housing services online via ‘My Account’.
The council’s Chief Officer for Finance, Performance and Change, Carys Lord said: “It is an exciting time as we look to introduce more online services which our residents can access at a time that is convenient for them, in the comfort of their own home.
“Whilst we continue to develop further online services, we are also listening to our residents and acting on their feedback to improve the look and feel of ‘My Account’ to make navigation more user-friendly.
“We continue to rely on our residents to provide invaluable feedback to help shape our online services and we will be doing more work with residents in the near future to develop the online platform further.”
