New Rhyl Restaurant, Bar & Virtual Darts Venue Opens in Time for Easter Weekend

Ember Lounge Rhyl

Rhyl’s seafront is set for a fresh spark of life this Easter as Ember Lounge, a new bar, grill and virtual darts venue, opens its doors just in time for the holidays.

The launch weekend kicks off on Thursday 17th April from 5pm-11pm, followed by evening DJ sessions from Friday 18th– Sunday 20th April, from 8pm -11.30pm.

Located on the seaside town’s iconic promenade, the pet-friendly – and child-friendly – venue hopes to cater to locals as well as the 250,000 tourists who descend on the coastal resort each year.

Alongside the food and drink offering, Ember Lounge is introducing a virtual darts experience – the first of its kind in the area. Priced at £10 per person (minimum two people), the interactive lanes are expected to be a major draw, especially for groups and evening outings.

Speaking ahead of the launch, a spokesperson for the venue said: “We wanted to bring something new to Rhyl with a place that feels modern but welcoming, and puts the seafront back on the map as a destination for good food, good drinks and a great night out.

“We’ll be launching our new menu as soon as we open, which offers a variety of dishes to suit all appetites, including light bites, smashed burgers, pizzas, grills, a Sunday menu for families looking for a traditional roast, and a dedicated kids’ menu.”

Over a dozen local staff have also been hired ahead of the launch, which aims to revitalise the town’s hospitality and leisure scene.
