New School Term: Bridgend Council Reminds Parents about School Essentials Grant
Elementary School Computer Science Classroom: Smart Little Schoolboy Works on Personal Computers, Learning Programming Language for Software Coding. Schoolchildren Getting Modern Education
With the new school term starting next week, parents/carers are reminded that they could be entitled to further help for school essentials providing they meet the following eligibility criteria.
The Welsh Government grant is designed to help with the costs such as:
- School uniform: including sports kit and footwear
- School activities: this could include learning a musical instrument, sports equipment and other items needed for after school clubs
- Classroom essentials: this could include pens, pencils and school bags
