New Team Appointed to Boost Wildflower Meadow Management in Denbighshire

Denbighshire County Council has introduced a new temporary team to enhance the care and development of its wildflower meadows as part of its ongoing Nature Recovery initiative. The newly appointed Nature Recovery Streetscene Operatives will work alongside the Council’s Biodiversity team to provide dedicated support during the vital summer season.
The Wildflower Meadows Project, funded by the Welsh Government through the Local Nature Partnerships Cymru ENRaW project, has already recorded 297 different species across its sites. The new team will help ensure meadows continue to thrive, while also supporting wider nature and tree management efforts throughout the county.
