Private landlords interested in leasing their properties in Bridgend County Borough are being invited to join a scheme which would see them used as temporary accommodation.

Cartrefi Hafod, which is working with Bridgend County Borough Council on the private rent leasing scheme, offers one to three year lease agreements.

Landlords are offered a guaranteed rental income for the duration of the contract, paid monthly in arrears. The scheme also includes a full management service and 24/7 repairs service.

“We undertake all tenancy management functions, such as rent collection, repairs, re-lets, property inspections and where necessary we will undertake court proceedings as part of this service. We also act as a contact point for neighbours. You will not be charged for any of these as it is all part of our hassle-free service.

“As part of the scheme, landlords remain responsible for all structural and external repairs and fixtures and fittings. While they are also responsible for ensuring that the relevant gas and electrical safety checks are carried out annually, Cartrefi Hafod are able to assist with this. They can also provide quotes and contractors to undertake landlord repairs making it even easier for you.

Cartrefi Hafod sources properties from landlords to use as temporary accommodation in Bridgend County Borough, as well as Caerphilly, Rhondda Cynon Taf and the Vale of Glamorgan.
