Automotive Technology Specialists, Kits-n-Bits has recently achieved its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems accreditation.

ISO 9001 is an international standard that specifies criteria for the way documentation and processes are managed within a business. It focuses specifically on the requirements of the firm’s customers and strives to ensure that they receive the best possible customer experience. It does this by streamlining processes and continually pushing the business to identify and implement improvements in its operations on an ongoing basis.

‘Achieving ISO accreditation has been an important element of our business plan’, said Director, Nick Millar, ‘it’s a guarantee for our domestic customers that we are focused on providing the best possible service. And for our HGV and fleet-based commercial clients, it’s a further guarantee that we operate efficiently enough to be able to deliver on time, every time. Our business supports their business’

Kits-n-Bits was established in 2003 and continues to be a family-run business by Nick and his wife Claire, with their staff of ten. The business supplies and installs a wide range of automotive technology including dashcams and towbars for domestic customers, fleet tracking and blue tooth kits for car fleet customers through to strobe and beacon lighting, parking aids and warning alarms for HGV clients. A key differentiator for the Kits-n-Bits is that it offers a mobile service which provides convenience to both domestic and commercial clients.

‘As a business, we’re growing’, said Nick, ‘but we don’t want to compromise on the standards that we deliver as we grow. To be synonymous with high-quality products and first-class delivery has been at the heart of the business since I founded it in 2003. I’m keen to make sure things stay that way and I’m delighted to have achieved the ISO 9001 standard which will support this.’
