Price of used EVs reaches record low, falling by over £7,000 in two years.

Marketcheck, the UK’s most significant source of data on the UK used car market, has today published statistics on the performance of the used EV market over the previous two years.

The number of used EVs sold in the UK has increased significantly, from 7,073 in May 2023, to 19,836 in May 2025. This is a 180.45% increase over the two years covered by Marketcheck’s analysis.

The data published by Marketcheck show that the average last listed price has fallen by almost a quarter, decreasing steadily over that time period, despite two seasonal fluctuations in the last quarters of 2023 and 2024.

In May 2023, the average last listed price for a used EV was £30,441.00. Last month this has now fallen by £7,411.48, to £23,029.52.
