Real SFX Scores BAFTA Albert Recognition

The recognition by albert, the BAFTA-owned and industry-backed authority on sustainability in the screen sector, endorses Real SFX’s work to embed greener practices across all areas of production.
“At Real SFX, sustainability isn’t just a box to tick — it’s integral to how we design, deliver, and evolve our services,” said Carmela Carrubba, Director of Real SFX.
“For clients, working with an albert approved supplier means partnering with a team that prioritises environmental responsibility at every level. As sustainability becomes a key part of production planning, we’re proud to deliver high-impact results while helping productions meet their green goals.”
Real SFX’s commitment to sustainable practices spans a range of initiatives. The company’s KIT4CREW programme, launched with support from Bectu and CULT Cymru, repurposes surplus workwear for the creative industries. Other efforts include investments in alternative power sources such as the Green Voltage e-generator and promotion of HVO fuel as a low-carbon on-set alternative.
Internally, Real SFX continues to foster a green culture through initiatives like meat-free days, the integration of electric vehicles into its fleet, travel mapping, and the adoption of virtual meetings to cut down on travel emissions.
This latest recognition reinforces Real SFX’s long-standing belief that creative excellence and environmental responsibility must go hand in hand. As the industry shifts towards more sustainable working models, Real SFX remains at the forefront, helping shape a greener future for film and television production.
