Road resurfacing work is due to commence at Bastion Road, Prestatyn next week (23rd January)

Work is due to start from Monday January 23rd and is expected to take up to 1 week to complete.

Within the section of road closure, all adjoining side roads shall be closed for the duration of the works except White Rose Close and Bastion Road Gardens.

Access to residential and business premises which are located on Bastion Road will be available although some delay and disruption maybe experienced and residents are encouraged to access the A548 Marine Road via Beach Road East and Barkby Avenue.

The alternative diversion route will be signed accordingly. Normal working hours shall apply to the works.

Cllr Barry Mellor, Lead Member for Environment and Transport, said: “Denbighshire County Council apologise for any inconvenience that these essential works may cause and we are grateful for local cooperation and patience during this time to ensure that the works are completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
