Some of the best young string players in the UK will be joining Sinfonia Cymru to perform at Gregynog Hall at Tregynon, near Newtown on Saturday, October 7 at 11.30am.

The concert is a must for live classical music fans and a great opportunity for those that wish to explore it for the first time. Sinfonia Cymru brings the best musicians under the age of 30 years to Welsh communities.

Gregynog’s historic Music Room will be the perfect setting for an hour long concert with four star players performing a mix of music to entertain the audience.

Curated by French violinist Charlotte Saluste – Bridoux, YCAT Artist and Classic FM Rising Star Nominee 2022 – and joined by violinist Ezo Dem Sarici, viola player Ben Norris and Welsh cellist Ben Tralton, this concert is a mix of shimmering and beautiful music by Bach, Mendelssohn and Gubaidulia.

Tickets, costing £9.50 for adults and £3 for under 16s, are on sale now at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/sinfoniacymru/music-for-string-quartet/2023-10-07/11:30/t-krzedme
