South Wales Sports Therapy Centre, One2One Therapy, is running an educational evening on Friday 21 Feb 2020 with Sports Dietitian Aisling Pigott and Physiotherapist Annie Williams, where experts will share invaluable tips and advice for sportsmen who compete (or who are seeking to compete) in endurance events like the long course triathlon (Ironman).
Both workshop leaders are experts in the field, with personal and professional experience in endurance events. Aisling (Ash) has competed in numerous marathons & ultra marathons. Annie has competed in several Ironman events and represented GB in both 70.3 and Hawaii Ironman Championships.
Between them they have so much knowledge to share regarding training, nutrition, recovery, injury prevention and how to best prepare for race day.
One2One Therapy is well known for it’s expertise in supporting endurance athletes, especially runners and triathletes. They work with novice athletes preparing for their first event, age groupers aiming to qualify for Kona and pro athletes which include Dubai Ironman 70.3 Winner Adam Bowden and double World Champion Helen Jenkins.
The event will also feature a special video of race day tips from Dave McNamee, Britain’s most successful Ironman athlete!!
