Swansea City Christmas Campaign Backed By Amazon
The Swansea City AFC Foundation has received a donation of £1,700 from the Amazon fulfilment centre in the town in support of its Christmas campaign.
The Swansea City AFC Foundation has been working at the heart of the community for more than 10 years, inspiring and engaging people from all backgrounds across south-west Wales. The Swansea City AFC Foundation acts as a force for positive change through building prosperity, developing resilience, improving health and supporting inclusivity.
The Swansea City AFC Foundation has joined forces with Ospreys, Carolyn Harris MP and Julie James MS for Christmas Hamper campaign called ‘Everyone deserves a Christmas 2021’. The annual campaign aims to provide festive cheer to those who require an extra helping hand in the local community, aiming to create 500 food hampers with a value of £50 each.
Amazon in Swansea is supporting the campaign for the second year by providing boxes and tape for the food parcels, in addition to a donation, which will go towards the contents of the food hampers which will include festive food and sweet treats, meat, vegetables, cheese and biscuits.

“This campaign will help so many people in our community. Christmas comes with many worries for families experiencing hard times, and we are pleased to lend them a helping hand through this donation.”

This should be a time of celebration and happiness, not worry. The donation to Swansea City AFC Foundation was made as part of Amazon’s programme to support the communities in and around its operating locations across the UK.
