Swansea vehicle specialist Premier becomes Platinum Pledger to City Hospice in Cardiff
Premier Commercial Vehicles in Swansea have this week announced that they are now a Platinum Pledge supporter to the City Hospice in Cardiff.
This means they have pledged to make a payment to the Hospice for every single vehicle that they sell, lease or contract.
Premier was launched as a Sole Trader business in 2017 by Martin Blizzard. Subsequently the company became limited in 2018 and has benefited from rapid growth from his experience in the market and by the addition of key members to the team namely; Neil Rees, Paul Ricketts and Oliver Lewis. The company has gone from strength to strength and is set to expand rapidly across South Wales, so the company is keen to give back to the Welsh community. City Hospice provided the ideal opportunity to do this.
City Hospice is a registered charity at the heart of Cardiff, providing specialist medical, nursing and end of life care to patients in their own homes, providing assistance to people with life-limiting illnesses such as dementia, cancer, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The charity provides specialist palliative care to these people in their own homes as well as offering counselling (adults and children), welfare benefits advice and day centres with a range of activities.
Martin Blizzard explains:
“This charity do amazing work so it’s great be able to support City Hospice by becoming a Platinum Pledging company, which means we will donate to the charity every time we sell a vehicle. We are looking forward to working with them closely and plan to go beyond the pledge and extend our support to them in any way possible”.
