The Lord’s Taverners Wales set for another festive fundraising feast of comedy

Wales’ leading youth cricket and disability sports charity, The Lord’s Taverners Wales, is gearing up for its hugely popular annual Christmas Lunch events. This will be the 36th consecutive Christmas event run by the charity, and will once again feature a star-studded line up of guest speakers and comedians along with its festive favourite raffle and auction.

The two lunches this year take place on Friday 6th and Friday 13th December at the Cardiff Marriott Hotel and are selling fast with only a limited number of tickets remaining. A variety of sponsorship opportunities are also available for those that want to reach a corporate audience of more than 500.

This year, the Taverners once again welcome back the award-winning comedian, and son of eminent Welsh sports writer Karl Woodward, Rod Woodward who will compere both events.

Joining Rod at the first lunch on 6th will be ITV’s ‘The Chase’ funny man Paul Sinha, stand-up pro Jamie Sutherland, and mind-reading magician and all-round entertainer Graham Jolley. On December 13th, Rod will be introducing and starring alongside Magic Circle Stage Magician of the Year 2016 Sebastian Walton, and popular comedians Kevin Connelly and Simon Evans.

Tables of ten can be purchased for £950 which includes a drink on arrival, a three-course meal followed by coffee and mince pies, and the full entertainment line-up. To secure your tickets, contact Ian Waters by emailing IWaters@afblakemore.co.uk.
