Welsh therapy dog organisation, Cariad Pet Therapy are looking for engaging dogs and their owners to make a difference in their local communities across Wales.

Cariad Pet Therapy are holding therapy dog assessments in Cardiff on Sunday 22nd January, Aberystwyth on Friday 27th January, Swansea on Tuesday 31st January, Wrexham on Friday 3rd & 4th February and Whitland on Thursday 16th February.

Cariad Pet Therapy facilitates the magic connection of the human-animal bond by bringing together compassionate owners and their affiliative natured dogs with members of their local community.

The therapy dogs will visit hospital wards, care homes and schools as well as to employers for wellbeing visits.

Therapy dog visits provide a connection, a feeling of calmness, joy, comfort, and companionship, which has a positive impact on wellbeing, and this can be long lasting.

If your dog has a good temperament and enjoys meeting new people with good etiquette, Cariad Pet Therapy would love to hear from you.

You also would need to have the time to volunteer and have a good bond with your dog.

To find out how to apply visit their website at www.cariadpettherapy.co.uk and complete the expression of interest form on the volunteer page.

You can also ring their head office on 01437 723628 and speak to one of the team for more details.
