The next Denbighshire Tourism Forum takes place on Wednesday, 25th October at the Oriel House, St Asaph, 10.30am-1.30pm. The Forum provides a great opportunity for delegates to hear about the latest tourism developments and meet other like-minded businesses and share experiences.
Guest speakers include the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty team, who will be presenting on working in partnership to deliver sustainable tourism. Joe Swiffen from Mynydd Sleddog Adventures-Wales’ first and only sled dog adventure trails near Llyn Brenig, will be telling her story of this family business and how it’s grown. This will be followed by the Stakeholder Manager for North Wales, Gail Jones, who will be providing an update on the work of Transport for Wales. Finally, Julie Brominicks, an environmentalist travel writer, author of the Edge of Cymru and frequent contributor to the BBC Countryfile Magazine will be discussing the joys and perils of bus travel, and other cautionary tales.

Tourism plays a vital part in Denbighshire’s economy, with a total economic impact in 2022 of £628 million. Over 6 million visits were made to the county with 1.64 million deciding to stay, up 56.1% in 2022, when compared with 2021 figures.
