Treat Mum To Spring Flavours And A Raspberry Bloom Dessert At The Ivy Collection This Mother’s Day
This Mother’s Day, The Ivy Collection is celebrating mums and mother-figures with the launch of a delectable two or three-course set menu, complete with a beautifully floral, Raspberry Bloom Parfait dessert created exclusively by The Ivy’s executive chefs for the occasion.
Guests can also choose The Ivy’s iconic Afternoon Tea, which can be elevated with Champagne to make the day extra special. Exclusively available from 28th to 30th March, the set menu combines seasonal produce with punchy flavours, perfect for celebrating the day with a loved one. What’s more, guests who come in to dine on the Mother’s Day set menu will receive a bunch of tulips, perfect for gifting on the special day.
Among the starters, guests can choose from a selection of Ivy favourites and new flavours to begin the celebrations with Mum; from the indulgent French Onion Soup, topped with gratinated cheese croutons and parsley, to the famous Classic Crispy Duck Salad, garnished with roasted cashew nuts and sesame. New to The Ivy Collection menus is the beautifully presented Crab and Avocado Tian; dressed crab with avocado, sliced radish, tomato, coriander and spinach crispbread.
When it comes to mains, the selection is bursting with spring flavours, inspired by cuisines around the world. Guests can choose from the Chargrilled Halloumi with Harissa Grains, served with red peppers and courgettes, red chilli, pine nuts, and micro salad cress with herb dressing. Also on the menu is the Fillet of Sea Bass with Smoked Aubergine, accompanied by asparagus, and a tomato and sherry dressing and a sumptuous, Korean Glazed Chicken dressed with an avocado and jalapeño sauce, citrus mayonnaise, sesame and pickled mooli.
To round off the meal, guests can choose from classic favourites such as The Ivy Chocolate Bombe served with vanilla ice cream, honeycomb and hot caramel sauce, or the creamy Crème Brûlée with a caramelised sugar crust. For those looking for something extra special, The Ivy’s executive chefs have carefully created the Raspberry Bloom Parfait especially for Mother’s Day, which sees Chantilly cream and vanilla sponge crafted into a beautiful bloom formation and topped with edible flowers.
This year, the menu will also be complemented by two floral, rose cocktails. Served in a flute, the Strawberry and Rose Royale sees Tanqueray gin combined with Aperol, strawberry puree and rose syrup, topped with chilled Champagne and spritzed with citrus essence, a fresh and fruity treat for Mother’s Day celebrations. This is joined by the Wild Rose, a non-alcoholic alternative which uses Tanqueray 0% and chilled Wild Idol Naturally Sparkling Wine for an equally refreshing sip.
What’s more, those unable to spend an afternoon at The Ivy with their mother or mother figure, will be able to give the gift of The Ivy experience to their loved one instead. Available to purchase from The Ivy Collection website, guests can select a gift voucher for Afternoon Tea For Two or Afternoon Tea for Two with Champagne, among a range of other experiences at The Ivy, and treat Mum to a lovely afternoon at a later date. Guests who fancy treating themselves as well as Mum can get a £100 Sparkling Gift Card, which they can gift to Mum and then receive a complimentary bottle of fizz themselves, next time they visit The Ivy.
