VARGO Group, talent acquisition and business transformation experts whom provide recruitment services in the Technology, Finance and Engineering sectors, has made a number of new appointments recently and reported an astonishingly successful year in the face of the pandemic, trebling head count over the past 9 months.

In the last few weeks Katie Thomas and Joe Coleman have further bolstered the VARGO team, with Katie bringing a background in ERP and CRM, and Joe tasked with building VARGO’s technology contractor book following increased demand from their ever-growing client base.

Tom Miller, Commercial Director commented “I’m delighted to welcome Katie and Joe to our team, each of them will play a significant role in helping us to smash our ambitious 2021 targets.  They both bring invaluable expertise within their specialist areas and I am looking forward to helping them to develop and flourish as part of our booming Technology division.

Tom continued: “Welcoming new talent to our business and empowering our ultra-talented team will continue to be the key to our success. We are building on the back of a great year for VARGO, and we continue to add to our client base by unearthing the highest calibre candidates in the market. We are fully committed to providing the highest possible standards of service, always acting with integrity and working tirelessly to achieve the best outcomes for our candidates and clients.”

Despite the tumultuous year that VARGO and many other businesses are faced with, agility has been key to their success.  Their staff growth trajectory has resulted in a move to new larger offices situated 10 minutes walk to the City Centre of Cardiff.

Nigel Griffiths, CCO Vargo said:  “Our team will play a key role in helping make our goals a reality.  We are keen to ensure we continue to recruit the best talent not only for Vargo but for our clients too.  I could never anticipated the growth we’ve experienced over the past year.  Despite the unprecedented challenges, we have experienced unanticipated positives.”
