West Midlands Businesses Announce Major Recruitment Drive

Sutton Coldfield-based sister companies Embark Learning and Fairway Healthcare have launched a major recruitment campaign to recruit for at least ten new roles, increasing their internal teams by nearly a third.

The internal recruitment drive comes in response to the businesses’ growth in the past 12 months, as well as to meet growing needs for social care services across the West Midlands.

The sector continues to grapple with a significant workforce shortage: according to Skills for Care, there were approximately 152,000 vacancies in adult social care across England in 2023, representing a vacancy rate of 9.9%, one of the highest of any UK industry.
