Heatwave wrestling show at Cefn’s Green Hall!

Some of the best wrestlers from around the UK are starring in a night of high octane, family friendly wrestling at Cefn’s Green Hall on Saturday 17th August!

Special appearances will made by the Next Generation Wrestling (NGW) Heritage Champion – King Devla, The NGW Dragon Champion – Taylor H. Thunder, The NGW Lineage Champion – Prince Pallas, The Inquistor Alex Connors, The Skywalker Nate Reilly, The Mercenary Pain and many more wrestling favourites!

Doors open at 5.30pm and the wrestling starts at 6.00pm. Tickets for Heatwave at £6 for children, £10 for adults and £25 for a family of two adults and two children are on sale now at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/booking/t-eamdmko

 

Meet our local PCSOs at Pyle Life Centre and Pyle Asda

The local Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) for Cefn, Kenfig Hill, Pyle and Cornelly will be holding the next PACT meeting this Thursday 8th August at 4.30pm at Pyle Life Centre.

If you have any community concerns you would like to discuss with our neighbourhood policing team and local councillors, pop along to Pyle Life Centre.

You can also receive face-to-face advice from one of our PCSOs at Pyle Asda, members of the team are at the store every Monday at 2.00-4.00pm.

 

Book your seat on Cefn trip to Malvern Flower Show

Cefn Cribwr Gardening Club is planning a trip to the annual Malvern Autumn Show on Sunday 29th September at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern.

Highlights of the event will of course be the popular and famous Royal Horticultural Society Flower Show, the UK Giant Vegetables Championships, and new for this year a dedicated dog day and show. Special guests will include Briony May Williams from television programmes Bake Off and Escape to the Country and Arit Anderson from Gardeners’ World.

You can also visit the Tipple Zone, the Great Taste Market and the bulb market where you can choose bulbs for a spring display in your gardens next year.

The cost of the bus will be £10 to members and £15 for non-members. Entry to the show is free for under 16s, £19.85 for adults when paid for at time of booking/paying for the bus.  For more information about the show please visit the Malvern Autumn Show website.
