Let’s Get Ready to Rumble

Calling Cardiff, Let’s Get Ready to Rumble!

The ultimate mix of sport and entertainment is coming to town. Let’s be honest, after the national squad’s disappointing performance in the Six Nations Rugby, we need something uplifting. WWE will undoubtedly do that.

Block your diaries

Block out your diaries for 2nd July 2023 and prepare to get down to The International Arena, Cardiff. Your favourite WWE Superstars will be taking to the ring in live wrestling contests. You can expect all the greats of the WWE world. Look out for Bobby Lashley, Bayley, Bianca Belair, Seth “Freakin” Rollins, AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Matt Riddle, and so many more. The Arena is going to be rumbling in July.

The ultimate family entertainment

For anyone unfamiliar with the phenomenon that is WWE, it is a unique blend of entertainment and sport. We know all sport is entertaining, but WWE is at another level. Not only do you get in-ring match action, but that is combined with the energy of a rock concert. It is the ultimate in family entertainment. Available tickets start from £35.00. If you want to go, you need to order quickly as the lower price tickets have already sold out.

Full on entertainment

Fans of WWE do not just have to sit back and watch. There is a fun app called WWE Battle Cards. It is a game where you use strategy skills to locate your rivals. Then you slam your way through the upcoming competitions. In addition, Microgaming has developed a WWE Link, and Win slots challenge if you like even more adrenaline in your gaming. The game can be found at many new slot sites featured on online-slot.co.uk. It features icons from the world of WWE with familiar visual and audio details.

A whole evening of fun

WWE offers an entire evening’s entertainment. Doors open at 18.00 for a show that starts around 19.30. There is a break for an interval halfway. The action-packed, fun-filled evening winds up around 22.30. The show is suitable for all ages, but under 14s must be accompanied by an adult.

VIP packages

If you are WWE-crazy, you might want to splash out on a VIP package.  £351.75 buys a  360 WWE Superstar Experience. The package includes the following:

  • A seat up close to the ringside
  • Professional photo with WWE Superstars
  • Exclusive Q and A session before the show
  • An opportunity to stand in front of the ring with a championship title belt. WWE Superstars will be in the ring behind you.
  • A walk-in entrance as if you were a WWE Superstar yourself (you can’t actually go into the ring)
  • A mini autographed replica belt
  • 3D event poster
  • Priority check-in

If that is too expensive, there is the option of a ringsider package for £226.75. Still very special but without the whole experience described above. If you want tickets, you should buy them as they are being snapped up fast.

Live action

Whichever tickets you choose to buy, you will not be disappointed. WWE is an extremely entertaining live-action event. Part performance and part performance. If you cannot get to the show, you can still enjoy watching the WWE Superstars in action. WWE SmackDown and WWE NXT can be watched live and on catch-up on BT Sport. Alternatively, you can stream the action directly from the WWE official website.

Theatrical performance and choreography

WWE is performance-based theatre and not actual competitive fighting. Many forms of wrestling fall into this genre. Matches have storylines, and the action is choreographed. That in no way detracts from the skill of the performers. This is sheer entertainment. To perform at this level requires peak fitness and a punishing training schedule. The performers are at risk of actual injuries, like dancers, athletes, and stunt people. And with loud music rocking out, this will be an evening you will not forget for a long while.
