EW Group has been appointed by newly launched travel and tourism platform Lovetovisit.com to deliver a comprehensive equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) strategy to its founding team, and in support of its ongoing output and recruitment strategy.

Lovetovisit.com is an innovative new digital community that connects operators in the tourism and culture sectors with travellers and visitors, with an emphasis on creating a social experience, where people can scroll, browse and book all in one place.

EW Group is the leading full-service equality, diversity and inclusion consultancy that has delivered training, analysis and consultancy programmes to more than 1,750 organisations across 75 countries.

With a team of more than 60 diversity specialists, EW Group will work with Lovetovisit.com to establish diversity characteristics that the business can measure success against. The work will include reviewing their team’s existing knowledge around the topics of equality, diversity and inclusion and the subsequent delivery of training to staff members.

An inclusive language guide will also be created to establish content that the team can work from to plan its own output. The work is being delivered in preparation for their full launch in February 2022.

EW Group Managing Director Rachael Wilson said: “It is exciting to be working alongside such an innovative and forward-thinking brand that is demonstrating those values not only in the services it offers, but in the environment and culture the business is built around.

“We will deliver bespoke training that addresses knowledge gaps and equips team members with the tools to enable them to play their own role in creating an environment that is welcoming, inclusive and positive for all who are a part of it.

“Once the training session has been delivered, we will work alongside their technical team to put processes in place to ensure that content being produced is as inclusive as possible, enabling us to establish a reporting process, set aspirational targets and a mechanism for review.”

Alice Aubrey, Lovetovisit.com co-founder said: “From the very beginning inclusivity has been the heart of everything we do. With 30 years’ experience in the industry, Lovetovisit.com was built for every kind of experience, from the biggest attractions, theatres, and events the UK has to offer to the smallest of heritage sites and the free local nature trail.

“We passionately believe that every person on this planet should see themselves in every kind of experience too. Which is why we are so incredibly proud to be working alongside EW Group who have joined us on this mission.”
