Continued success for Welsh aluminium fabricators with trio of new contracts
Leading Welsh aluminium fabricator Dudley’s Aluminium have secured three new contracts for builds in the south west to benefit their local communities.
The first of the three builds is Bath Quays South, an office building with a total of 45,000sqft over five open plan floors. The building will include basement parking, cycle storage, showers, and lockers and has been designed to be flexible with the ability to subdivide floors in accordance with occupier requirements. Dudley’s will be working with BAM Construction Ltd on the build and will be installing a range of Kawneer products including curtain walling and windows, both with feature face caps.
Alongside the office build Dudley’s have also secured contracts for two primary schools.
The first of the schools is Clearwater Primary School in Gloucester. Dudley’s have teamed up with Kier Construction Ltd to complete the build and will be installing automatic entrance doors and a selection of Kawneer products including manual and remote operated windows, capped curtain walling, and manual doors. The project is set to be completed later this year.
The second of the schools is North End Primary School in Yatton, Somerset which will be completed alongside Willmott Dixon Construction Limited. Dudley’s will be installing Brise soleil solar shading as well as a range of Kawneer products throughout the build.
Colin Shorney, Managing Director of Dudley’s said:
It’s great to be continuing the year with some new projects, especially ones that are going to really benefit their local areas. We’ve worked with BAM, Kier, and Willmott Dixon before on a range of projects so its great to be working with them again.”
Discussing North End Primary School Clevedon Learning Trust CEO John Wells said:
We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve the local community and open a brand-new school. The school will be a creative and innovative place of learning where children will be encouraged to be as successful as they can be in all that they do.
We want the pupils to develop lively and enquiring minds and to acquire knowledge and skills relevant to a fast-changing world. We are eager to work in partnership with families and the local community to support the children, enabling them to develop and flourish, fulfilling their potential at school and in life as good citizens.”
