Two Family Fun Time Events are to be held by Denbighshire County Council’s Families First and Flying Start team. One will be held on May 31st at Seabank Community Centre in Prestatyn and the other will be hosted at Denbigh Rugby club on June 1st. Both events will run from 10am until 2pm.

A number of activities will be held at both events, including messy play and the Wheelie Play Bus will be in attendance each day.

In line with Mental Health Awareness week, which takes place in May, these Family Fun Time events are focused on Children’s wellbeing, and there will be sensory and art & craft activities available to participate in.

Each family that attends will also be provided with a free healthy lunch.

Councillor Gill German, Deputy Leader and Lead Member for Education, Children and Families said:

“Following on from the extremely successful events that were held both in Rhyl and Ruthin back in February, these events, held during the half term will allow families to enjoy a number of fun activities over the school holidays, free of charge.

As well as the activities, every family that attends will be provided with a delicious lunch. I urge families to book quickly as the previous events back in February were completely booked up on both days.”

The events are free to attend and are by booking only. For booking and further information please contact Joanne.Evans@denbighshire.gov.uk or call 07879115233.
