Mrs Buckét mops up with a £500,000 revenue boost to kickstart 2022

Mrs Buckét, the award-winning commercial cleaning company which services Wales and the South West, has started 2022 on a high note after securing a trio of client wins. These new contracts collectively amount to £500,000 of revenue, 30 per cent of the company’s overall target for this year.

This strong start to the year follows an impressive 2021 whereby the company celebrated a 55 per cent increase in revenues, from £2.9 million in 2020 to £4.5 million in 2021. This large jump was attributed to the company’s inaugural rebrand in October 2020, which was a key catalyst to onboarding 37 new clients in 2021 alone. In 2022, the company has ambitious targets to welcome a further 26 clients to its books.

Speaking about the impressive start to 2022, Rachael Flanagan, Founder and Managing Director of Mrs Buckét, commented:

“2021 was one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, years I have ever had in my sixteen-year career. Mrs Buckét smashed several of its goals and we’re seeing this momentum continuing already into this year.

“We are honoured to be starting work with some of the biggest companies in Wales and the South West, and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with them.

“Cleaning will continue to hold a seat at the top table for many companies in 2022 and beyond. Leaders are continuing to work towards maintaining a safe environment for their workers as the country grapples with rising COVID-19 cases and fights against other nasty bugs and viruses. We are here to support them every step of the way.”

The aspirational growth targets for 2022 mean that Mrs Buckét is also looking to widen and strengthen its team this year. From Head of People, to cleaning technicians, Team Leaders to a Social Media Content Executive, the company plans to create 100 new jobs in Wales and South West region of the UK.

Commenting on the recruitment drive for 2022, Rachael added:

“In 2021, we onboarded more than 100 members to the team, and there’s no sign of this speed of headcount growth slowing.

“We’re looking for the best talent the region has to offer to join our fun and flexible team. All we need are people with a ‘can-do attitude’ who are motivated and full of passion for their local community. We really value every single staff member’s contribution and have a policy that they interview me rather than the other way round to ensure that we are the perfect fit for them.

“In return, we will offer great investment in their professional career through top-quality training, flexibility and competitive salaries and the promise that Mrs Buckét will always be ‘people-first’.”

The targets set by Mrs Buckét for 2022 make up an overall determined plan to be a £12 million company by 2025.
