Swansea based commercial vehicle broker and rental company, Premier Commercial Vehicles has recently acquired heavyweight digital marketing specialist Oliver Lewis, formally of Bridgend Ford, as their new Group Marketing Manager, well known within the motoring industry.

During his time with Bridgend Ford Lewis generated over 85,000 new customer enquiries from over 1 million visits to the dealership website, and the company was recently awarded the ‘Best Website’ award by Motability Operations along with over 10 other nominations with different awarding bodies during his time with the main Ford dealer.

Lewis explains:

“I have been with Bridgend Ford for the past 3 years and have enjoyed my time there. The dealership had very little online presence but over the past 18 months it has turned in to one of the giants in the motor industry. I am thankful for the opportunity that I had there however I am ready to move on to the next challenge.”

The new move signals huge growth plans for Premier Commercial Vehicles who have been active since 2003.

Managing Director, Martin Blizzard set up the company 16 years ago to offer local customers in the Swansea area the option to take advantage of some of the extra savings that main dealers were not willing to pass on to customers. During the past 12 months Martin has been hard at work focusing on the next big push and securing relationships with funders and manufacturers across the UK to ensure that his business can provide customers with the best prices and the best stock.

Blizzard says:

“The past 12 months has been extremely busy but everything is coming together nicely, with the team quadrupling over the past year. We have also expanded to supply the whole of the UK.

“Like many in the industry, we were impressed with Oliver’s work at Bridgend Ford, and we needed someone of his calibre to head up our huge expansion plans for 2019. We have access to one of the UK’s widest ranges of commercial vehicles at very competitive prices.  Oliver has come on board to take control of our digital footprint and we have faith that he will be the right man to take us to the next level in what is a very competitive industry already.”

The company recently invested in a new website which has been developed by local designer, Joe Dickens of Elektra Designs.  The new site offers a transparent insight into the finance offers that Premier Commercial Vehicles can supply to their customers.

Lewis says:

“With the company having expanded so rapidly, 2018 has set the bar high, but I am confident that we will achieve our goals – I’m looking forward to getting started now.”
