Six by Nico Announce The Chippie As Cardiff’s Opening Menu

Renowned culinary tasting experience, Six by Nico is opening its doors in Cardiff for the first time on Monday 14 August, 2023. With its unique concept of a rotating six-course tasting menu, the restaurant will launch with their legendary Chip Shop dining experience.

Curated by chef Nico Simeone and his talented team and refined over the last six years,  The  Chippie menu is an elevation of the fish and chip experience and the ideal journey of nostalgia.

Featuring re-imagined chip shop classics, the innovative six course menu includes Chips & Cheese, Scampi, Steak Pie, Fish Supper, Smoked Sausage and a Deep Fried Mars Bar – but not as you’ve ever experienced them before. There’s snacks and aperitif to accompany the meal and vegetarian and vegan options are also available. 

Starting at £39 per person, the inventive menu tells a story through a series of artfully crafted dishes, carefully designed to evoke emotion and ignite the senses. There’s also the option to enjoy an expertly selected wine pairing for an additional £30 per person.

Located at the former Zizzi’s site, (27 High Street, CF10 1PU), the new restaurant will captivate locals and visitors with its ever-evolving menus and exceptional service. From indulgent flavour combinations to stunning presentation, Nico and his team push the boundaries of creativity, showcasing their passion for culinary artistry with every plate.
