Denbighshire County Council is informing residents that work will commence to drain Marine Lake this week, as part of pre-planned maintenance within the penstock chamber.

Contractors will be on the site across October to perform the pre-planned works, however the surrounding areas will remain open as usual.

The works have been planned to take place out of the summer season, and the lake will be re-filled upon completion.

Councillor Barry Mellor, Lead Member for Environment and Transport said:

“This work is part of the planned maintenance work and we would like to thank residents for their understanding and patience whilst this work takes place.”
